Call For Presentations: Sessions 2 & 3

The Material Health Open Innovation Symposium is an opportunity to share your material health leadership methods and results with colleagues on November 17, 2020 during this virtual event. Hosted by HPD Collaborative, in collaboration with USGBC, this is the first ever Symposium dedicated solely to the rapidly growing field of Material Health Practice.
Session 2 – Leading Edge of Practice Case Studies: Manufacturer Product Innovation

Manufacturers, Product Development Teams: How did knowledge of material health information help you develop a more optimized-for-health product? How have you innovated in your use of materials to improve the material health of your products? We are looking for stories of leading-edge innovation in product design, green chemistry, methodologies and supply chain tools that are now in use.
Session 3 – Leading Edge of Practice Case Studies: Project Design Team Innovation
2:00 to 3:00 pm
Architects, Designers, Building Design Teams: What did your innovation make possible? How did you utilize material health information in a more impactful way? We are looking for stories of leading-edge innovation in project design, methodologies and tools that have been developed and are now in use.
Results from the practice of material health by Sessions 2 and 3 will feature leading edge stories from product manufacturers and building design teams. Each presentation selected will demonstrate performance and results at the “leading edge” of actual practice – based on actual projects and product accomplishments. Presenters may be individuals or project teams. Each presentation will be 15 minutes in length.
All presentations submitted will have the opportunity to be included in the published Symposium proceedings, even if not selected for presentation.
