Enhance Your Product Information for Federal Procurement Agencies With GSA’s Sustainable Facilities Tool.
The U.S. General Services Administration’s (GSA) Sustainable Facilities Tool (SFTool) has introduced a Data Enrichment Program that uses a Product Search Platform to power the procurement process for 500M square feet of buildings operated by the federal government. SFTool Products Search is the largest catalog of products compliant with the Federal Green Procurement Guidelines. Using published Health Product Declarations from the HPD Public Repository, ecomedes, a library API partner with HPDC, has connected 13,653 products in GSA’s SFTool with published HPDs. You can access SFTool and find these products via this link.
This webinar shows product manufacturers with published HPDs how to take advantage of the Data Enrichment Program by enhancing their SFTool listing. HPD Builder Users need only complete a simple spreadsheet with five additional fields of data. ecomedes, working with the GSA, will import the data to the SFTool in alignment with GSA’s system of product categorization.
The introductory webinar is led by Michael Bloom, High-Performance Buildings Program Advisor in the Office of Federal High-Performance Buildings of the GSA, Paul Shahriari, CIO and Founder of ecomedes, and Wendy Vittori, Executive Director for HPDC.
