  • 🤝 Mingle with fellow HPDC members and our dedicated staff. (Appetizers, wine, and beer included!)
  • 🚀 Get a sneak peek into the latest enhancements of the HPD Open Standard.
  • 🛠 Dive deep into the nifty new features of the HPD Builder and HPD Public Repository.

There will be a check-in table located at the front entrance provided by the hosts.

Is there handicap access available at the headquarters?

However, if you have parked in the parking garage beneath the building, you can take advantage of elevators that will take you to the Lobby level.

Where is the meeting, and what are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

The HPDC Annual Member Meeting & Reception is at the SmithGroup headquarters at 1700 New York Ave NW #100, Washington, DC 20006.

Finding parking is easy for our guests. There is a convenient LAZ parking garage right beneath the headquarters building. To access it, simply use the entrance located on E Street, NW, which is situated between 17th and 18th Streets. If you’re using GPS, enter 1775 E St., NW for precise directions. When you’re ready to leave, the garage exit is on New York Avenue, NW, also between 17th and 18th Streets.

For your convenience, the maximum rate for parking, if you stay for over an hour, is $25. The self-park garage is open until 7 PM. However, there’s no need to worry about leaving late, as there’s a sensor that automatically opens the door for you when you exit, regardless of the time.

Please note that street parking is not available on New York Avenue in front of our building from 4 PM to 6:30 PM. But don’t fret, you can still find street parking on the surrounding blocks – refer to the map below for guidance.

What public transportation options are available to reach the headquarters?

You can easily access public transportation options to get to the SmithGroup headquarters. Farragut West station is just a short 7 to 9-minute walk down 18th Street, while Farragut North station is approximately a 12 to 14-minute walk down 17th Street. See map below.

Pack your enthusiasm and join us in September in Washington, DC! 🌟
